Top 10 Overpowered Anime Protagonist

You’re tired of these ‘zero to hero’ developments and want our good old protagonist here to just steam roll through everyone out there? Well, you’ve come to the right place for we’ve got quite a few Overpowered Anime Protagonist that would be able to satiate your desire once you’re done with all of them. If only the word badass wasn’t in the title then I would’ve added my boy Saitama, him standing at the very top, way above everyone else. But except when you’ve got that serious face, you’re just an egg at most so, yeah, better luck next time! With that out of the way, let’s get ready to see some broken characters

10 : Phantom – Requiem for the Phantom

Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom

Imagine being a puppet, one whose only purpose in life is to kill. I’m sure a lot of people are like, ‘How cool is that!’ Wait, let me just call the FBI real quick. Thank you for your patience. Zwei is as cold hearted as one gets, coming not even close to how he used to be before that fateful encounter he had the other day. The anime features a lot and just diverges completely as you cross that definitive episode mark.

09 : The Irregular at Magic High School

mahouka koukou no rettousei

The best feeling in the world is when you overpower someone who deems you as a ‘small fry’ or something similar. That victory just tastes different and way sweeter than anything else in the entire world. Shiba Tatsuya, give me a high five since you’re just a little too broken for all the other normies standing next to you.

08 : Classroom of the Elite

Classroom of the Elite

The harder the name, the harder the game. Okay, I’m sorry about that one. Ayanokouji looks pretty normal. But you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover since even if people had a slight idea of what’s been going on in the mastermind’s head, it’d truly cause an uproar making it hard for him to stay in that same school.

07 : Kiseijuu

Parasyte

Okay before the fanboys jump at me, we both know how much of a pussy Shuuichi was in the first half of the series. He got his buff later on and became qualified to be in the list so you better sit down. But one thing’s for certain, the anime was completely different after these ‘patch notes’.

06 : Hellsing Ultimate

Hellsing Ultimate

A dracula ready to take down anyone who’d dare cross his path, Alucard isn’t one you want to come face to face with even if you have the whole universe on your side. Plus, the fact that he’s able to massacre everyone while putting up that vampiric smile, those teeth ready to drink all the blood packed in those walking ‘pieces’ of flesh.

05 : K – Project

K - Project

Mafia, flames, swords, badass looking characters, making the girls drool 24/7, the single alphabet sure can be misleading. One look at Mikoto and you’re ready to join his crew. But with the kings and everything and a naked neko girl running all over the place, what could the anime hit us with?

04 : The Disastrous Life of Saiki K

The Disastrous Life of Saiki K

Who’s even Mob at this point? Again, ONE making his characters have too much of that ‘purity’ we read about in those fairy tales. Saiki Kusou murdering everyone with his tongue while keeping up this air that makes us want him to be reborn in a battle manga the next time he’s on those pages.

03 : Darker than Black

Darker than Black

The Assassin, at it again. Sure, Phantom and Darker than Black look similar but believe me, they’re way way different. Plus, Darker than Black has a way more eerie feel about it in addition to featuring more episodes so there you have it, Hei wins!

02 : Death Note

Death Note

The title which got us into anime. Thank you very much. Imagine killing anyone and everyone out there using a pencil alone. Who’s even John Wick at this point? I wanted him to win at the very end of the series.

01 : Code Geass

Code Geass

How I wanted to add Eren here. But then again only the manga readers are aware of the boy’s ‘growth’. Sad, the anime still hasn’t caught up to that part. Code Geass, vengeance at it’s very best. Lelouch’s journey has been one hell of a ride, let’s be honest. But the way the series wrapped up and came up with that recent movie, it’s safe to say that Lelouch is the definition of an op character while being badass at everything he does.
