The anime is being animated by Studio LIDENFILMS, with director Yuki Komada, character designer Shinpei Tomooka, and the original creators Homura Kawamoto and Hikaru Muno.
It follows a story about a seemingly edgy teenager in a black bunny parka, Teruto Kurabe, who wants to beat up the “King” in a CHILDREN’S Card Ga-, ah, I mean “Rebuild Battle”! The Final would be based on the manga’s Jinchu Arc which tells Kenshin Himura’s fight with a very formidable adversary, Enishi Yukishiro, while The Beginning is a prequel in sorts, telling the story of Kenshin Himura’s days as Battosai the Slasher ( Hitokiri Battosai ) and how did he got his symbolic crossed scar on his cheek.
